What to Expect at M-pathy

At M-pathy counselling we offer a professional counselling service that adheres to the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) Ethical Framework. All our counsellors are qualified, and the majority of work is carried out by Margaret Kimmitt.

Counselling at M-pathy is not about giving quick, easy answers to problems; we provide a supportive listening ear to help explore in detail the many options available to the client.

There are many routes therapy may take, from analysing particular behavioural or thought patterns, to providing coping machanisms or support systems for issues.

At an initial appointment you will have an opportunity to discuss what your requirements might be. The initial assessment session will cost £30 and will last for approximately 50 minutes. A set number of sessions will be agreed, often around six, but this is negotiable and will be reviewed. The cost of each session will be approximately £35, but will be agreed at the initial meeting.
